Everyone,
We have less than two weeks to go. It's time to start making the calls, walking the beat, and talking to the street. Let's do this together. We got one vote each to make it happen, and one election day to make a change. What we have in numbers are phone calls to make, and people to talk to.
So what can you do?
I have identified three places to start:
1. Call for Change:
2. Work your local campaign
3. Help keep the polling places legit
Call for Change:
I know, cold calls are hard to make. I haven't made any, but I promise I will this weekend. If each of us spends an hour on the phones we can reach over a million people. From what I have read, you register, and you get a list of numbers to call. It makes my gut get queasy to think about it, but it must be done. Come on everyone, let's steel ourselves for the fight of the century and MAKE THOSE CALLS.

Work your local campaign:
The DSCC has place where you can register to work your local campaign. From their website:
"It will take an unprecedented grassroots movement across the country to take back the Senate from the Republican majority. It's going to take your help... and the help of thousands of people across the country fighting the rubberstamp Republican Senate. Please sign-up below to volunteer for the Senate campaign of your choice."
It doesn't matter where you are, there is no reason not to get ears on the phone and feet on the street. Again, one hour of your time can add hundreds of thousands of lobor hours to campaigns nationwide.

Help keep Polling Places Legit:
From Video The Vote:
"Starting this election, citizen journalists--people like you and I--will document problems as they occur. We'll play them online, spread word through blogs and partner websites, doing our part to make sure the full story of our elections is told."

Please everyone, now is the time to get the ground game on. It is time to stop the Meta conversations, close down the echo chamber, stop peering at the Democratic navel and start working for a new day. If we each contribute just two hours of our time we can theoretically put over 1 million labor hours into the election over the next week and a half. This is the fight of the century. If we do not take the house and senate on this election cycle, everyone around the world will suffer at the hands of this dangerous and careless Republican Guard.
Let's join together to show the world what we are made of!
Thanks For Reading :-)
